I am using IQmeasure Dll for LitePont automation of IQXel using IQAPI with the help of python scripting tool. To retrieve the “rmsPowerNoGap” value from the LitePoint. I am following steps, LP_Init(1,0) – Initializes the MATLAB environment for running IQmeasure. It returns ERR_OK LP_InitTester(LP_IP_ADDRESS,0) - Initializes a tester. It…(Show moreShow less)
Step 4 appears to indicate VSA was able to make a capture but Step 5 indicates the capture doens't have a valid 11b signal to analyze. It seems like it might be a triggering issue. You likely want to be using video trigger (not immediate) and you need to make sure the reference level is set correctly (maybe 10 dB above your expected power). It…
I compile my program with VS2012 in Win7-64bit. The software is running normally. But when I debug my program with VS2012 in Win7-32bite,"LP_Init" always fail, the function return ERR_IQLINK_SET_TCP_FAILED. I really do not know the reason
I'd like to test WLAN TxPower level during operation mode. What is the IQxel setup condition? In case of DUT transmits 8dBm TxPower, and ping to AP. 1) What should be set the Reference Level? 2) What should be set the capture length? Trigger setting 3) What should be selected for Source? ViDeo? Thanks,
Hi Allen, Thanks for your explain, it's very detailed. In this case, the cable loss is 2 dB, and peak power is 26.28 dBm, so I can set around 23 dBm to 26 dBm to be the reference level, but it does not recommend to set lower than 23 dBm to avoid impact measuement result, right? Javon Tseng
I had to install IQsignal onto a new PC. Everything loaded correctly, but when I try to start IQSignal it momentarily shows a pop-up window [PB_GUI has stopped working] and does not start. The PC is using the same OS (Windows 7 - 64bit) as the last machine that did not have an issue
Using the IQXEL-M and trying to run the VSG or VSA from the GUI i get the error message module: " BT",code: "-200",description: " CHAN1 CALC:ALL 0 600 No capture data for segment: 1 1" module: " VSA1",code: "-213",description: " CHAN1 INIT" module: " VSA1",code: "-213",description: " CHAN1 INIT Port is not active" What does this…(Show moreShow less)
Hi Adam, try to enable the VSA and VSG ports before doing Analysis. Click on the LED STATUS on the top left of the GUI and then select the ports you are using. Green means the port is VSA and Red means the port is VSG. Regards, Behzad
I want to use our IQXEL-M as lab equipment if our RF verification & test lab. Are there any readable resources available explaining how to use the GUI and setup for beginners who want to start testing their own prototypes? For example compliance to BT and WiFi specifications (b g n etc).
Hi, using an IQxel-M (or this kind of machine) for the first time, I'm sorry if this is a question that seems really dumb. Following the "Quick Start Guide" instructions, I wanted to perform a loop back measurement. After following the instructions until the "Click Continuous Analysis button", I get an error that says License is not installed…(Show moreShow less)
Hi Sabrina, IQxel-M supports many different technologies (WiFi, Z-Wave, ZigBee, BT, GPS, etc). Most customers don't require all of these capabilities so we don't make you buy functionality that you don't use. LitePoint licenses the functionality with SW keys that are on the tester. To determine what your tester is licensed for, look under Admin…
Thanks Allen, These do not help with my problem seeing the instrument through NI Measurement and Automation Explorer (NI MAX). I have tried creating my own USB drivers, which makes the device appear as a "RAW" USB device in NI MAX, but I cannot connect to it with NI VISA.
